Orders and payment

A valid email address is required for every online order and is used for transactional order updates. Public order tracking requires the order number and that same checkout email. An order becomes binding only when payment has been confirmed. When secure online payment is enabled, card payment is handled by Stripe and DuDu Credit may be combined with card payment; card details are never stored by DuDu Bakery. Until online payment is enabled, an order request reserves stock for 2 hours and requires separate payment confirmation. Unpaid requests expire automatically. Check the basket, contact details, address, fulfilment date and method before submitting. A specific date may be removed or closed when its operating capacity is reached or an exceptional closure is recorded; existing paid orders are not automatically cancelled by a later closure.

Fortnightly specials

Most of the menu is a permanent core range. A small batch of approximately 3–4 specials is scheduled to publish every 14 days on Friday at 20:00 London time. Each special is available only for fulfilment dates within its displayed menu window. The usual 18:00 day-before cutoff still applies to every route: for example, after a Wednesday West London service has passed, the same special cannot be carried into the following Wednesday if that date is outside the current window. A special remains visible with an availability explanation when the currently selected date is not eligible. Any displayed per-customer quantity limit applies across orders using the same email during that special menu window.

London delivery

Minimum product order £15. Orders from £15 to £34.99 have a £4.99 delivery fee; orders of £35 or more receive free standard delivery. West London is delivered on Wednesday, Central and Elephant & Castle on Thursday, and East London and Greenwich on Friday. Orders close at 18:00 the day before delivery. Greenwich postcodes SE3, SE8, SE10 and SE16 retain a £50 minimum and free delivery. Eligibility is checked using the complete delivery postcode. If delivery cannot be completed, the customer must contact customer service; staff may arrange paid redelivery or change the order to Bakery Collection. The customer cannot change the address, date or method online.

Royal Mail Tracked 24

Orders are automatically assigned to the next available Wednesday or Thursday dispatch and close at 18:00 the day before. Orders under £50 cost £8 postage; £50–£64.99 cost £4.99; £65 or more receive free postage. Tracked 24 is the Royal Mail service name, not a guaranteed delivery time. The order email is also used for Royal Mail tracking updates. Ice cream buns and chilled products may be posted; refrigerate chilled items promptly on arrival. Birthday cakes are excluded.

Bakery Collection

Collect from the bakery studio at Mission Kitchen, SW8 5EL, Wednesday–Friday, 14:00–16:00, on the confirmed date. Orders close at 18:00 the day before collection. Eligible products receive £3 off £30, £8 off £60 and £15 off £100. Birthday cakes do not count towards, or receive, these discounts.

Pickup-point group orders

Greenwich is not included. Confirmed West, Central, Elephant & Castle and East points remain visible even when marked not open; the actual address, collection date and time are shown for each current session. Each separately paid order must contain at least £15 of products. Three paid orders form the group, and more orders may be accepted until 18:00 the day before collection. Birthday cakes are excluded and Bakery Collection discounts do not apply. If the target is not reached by the deadline, collected payment is returned to its original sources. If a session shows a fallback partner, a missed collection may be transferred with ice packs to that named partner, which may not have refrigeration: the customer pays £1 directly to the partner and must collect by 19:00 the same day; after 19:00 items are not retained and no refund is provided. No fallback transfer is promised unless the checkout displays a named partner and address.

DuDu Credit and top-ups

Creating an account is optional and guest checkout remains available. DuDu Credit is closed-loop credit for purchases, birthday cakes and fulfilment charges on this website only; it cannot be withdrawn as cash, transferred or resold. Paid credit has no expiry. Each new promotional bonus credit expires 2 years after it is credited. Bonus credit is used first, then paid credit, and any remainder may be paid by card. If customer service returns a guest order refund to DuDu Credit, the credit is linked to the order email automatically; the customer can later use that same email and a verification code without completing a separate registration form. A failed pickup group is always refunded to the original payment sources.

Fixed-design birthday cakes

Birthday cakes are sold only in the fixed designs listed on the site and must be ordered at least 3 days ahead. They are Bakery Collection only, or may be collected by an Uber courier arranged and paid for by the customer. They cannot be ordered through pickup-point groups, delivered by DuDu Bakery or posted.

Changes, cancellation and refunds

Orders cannot be cancelled through the website; contact customer service for review. After payment, the delivery address, pickup point and fulfilment date cannot be edited, so an approved change may require cancellation and a new order. Customer service may agree to return an approved cancellation or item refund either to the original payment sources or to DuDu Credit. An unavailable or missed item is refunded at its original item unit price and delivery charges or order discounts are not recalculated. An original-source refund on a mixed payment is divided proportionally across the remaining refundable card, paid-credit and bonus-credit components; a full refund returns all remaining components to their original sources. If an item is unexpectedly unavailable, DuDu Bakery may issue the refund without asking the customer to choose a substitute. This does not affect statutory rights if an item is faulty, unsafe or not as described.

Ingredients, allergens and shared-kitchen notice

Regulated allergens are displayed on each product page before ordering. Recipes and suppliers may change, so contact us before purchase for the current ingredient information. Products are made in a shared kitchen where wheat, milk, egg, soya, sesame, peanuts and tree nuts may be handled; we cannot guarantee an allergen-free environment. If the recipient has an allergy, intolerance or coeliac disease, do not order until DuDu Bakery has confirmed the current information. Review the product information again before eating and contact us if anything is unclear.

Storage and reheating

Storage depends on the filling. Most non-cream and non-taro bread intended for use within 2 days may be kept sealed in a cool, dry place. Cream, taro and ice cream buns must be refrigerated and eaten within 1–2 days. Freeze promptly for longer storage. Read the dedicated storage and reheating guide before use.
